Objectives of our assistance
The main objective of our assistance in this phase is to find adequate
accommodation (rental or puchase) for the expatriate and his/her familiy.
Depending on their needs and wishes, this may be for example an individual
house in the country-side or an apartment in the nice districts of the capital.
During this phase it is essential to quickly react in the country to
identify interesting houses or flats and to reserve them immediately until
the client has made a decision.
Contents and methodology of our approach
In cooperation with the expatriate and his/her family we develop a profile
of needs and expectations of the client regarding the new accommodation.
On the basis of the established parameters, we start the house-hunting,
and preselect adequate accommodations for you.
We visit the preselected houses and give you our feed-back and impressions.
As a special service, we transmit you photos
of the accommodations by e-mail or internet. With this photo
service you will have the opportunity to judge yourself and the other
members of your family, thereby saving travel time and money.
Management Mobility Consulting also organises visits for you of preselected
accommodations, we accompany you during your visit and offer you assistance
during the negociations of the lease.
To prepare your moving in, our activities include full-service assistance:
- To accompany you at the move-in inspection
- To install the utilities in your new home
- To organise your household insurance
- To select a telephone provider and to obtain your new telephone number
- To open a bank account in Luxembourg
During the first two months, we are entirely available to you in case
of any defect in your new accommodation. Management Mobility Consulting
assists you in formulating an appropriate letter asking the owner of the
property to undertake the necessary repairs.
Famility Orientation Tour to get to know the infrastructure
in the region
Objectives of our assistance
To quickly adapt to the new country, the expatriate and his/her family
will need a specific practical orientation in the new region. Management
Mobility Consulting offers you an individual orientation tour for the
expatriate and his/her family. The main objective of this tour is to get
a better knowledge of the infrastructure necessary for the daily life
of the family, e.g. schooling, transport, housing, banking, shopping and
the health system.
Contents and methodology of our approach
In cooperation with the client, Mangement Mobility Consulting develops
a programme for an individual Family Orientation Tour. The tour will be
carried out by car or by minibus with one or several members of the family.
Depending on the interests of the participants, the orientation tour
includes e.g. visits of shopping malls, shopping areas, supermarkets,
private und public schools and kindergardens, sport centres, associations, cultural
institutions, municipal administrations etc.
A number of families are interested in being introduced to other expatriates
in the region in order to exchange experiences.
You will receive an information package with maps, address lists, guides
and practical information concerning the major issues of daily life in
Luxembourg.
Business Orientation Tour to get to know professional institutions
Objectives of our assistance
Similar to the Family Orientation Tour, this tour aims at improving your
knowledge about the infrastructure in Luxembourg, but in this case concerning
business. The objectives of the Business Orientation Tour are:
- to get to know the professional institutions important to the expatriate
- to start building a network of professional contacts
Contents and methodology of our approach
In cooperation with the client, Mangagement Mobility Consulting develops
a programme for an individual Business Orientation Tour.
The tour includes visits of several professional institutions, e.g.
the foreign Chambers of Trade and Industry, professional associations
of your sector of activities, business clubs, meetings with accountants
specialised on issues dealing with expatriation etc.
You will receive an information package with address lists, maps, business
figures and practical information about doing business in Luxembourg.
